Short But Sweet: February 2019 Disney Trip Day 4: Epcot Farewell

Day Four of our Disney trip started with checking in our luggage at the bag services counter at the resort. This took a little longer than expected, and we were running a bit late for our fast pass to meet Mickey and friends.

I still took a moment to take a photo of a tree, however, because I am me.

Fast Pass for Mickey and Friends! We thanked Mickey for a wonderful trip, as we like to do on our last day.

He liked my polka dots.

We both tried out our Goofy yell on him, and I won again ;)

We tried to take a photo in his rocket ships, which resulted in this hilarious photo.

Minnie looooved my skirt.

Then we strolled over to France for breakfast, stopping on the bridge for a photo or two.

Cool Photopass photo! I'd much rather have a flying Figment in my photo than Tink.

France was gloriously quiet, and we went and got our $3 baguette with salted butter and relaxed as we ate it.

On our way back to the front of the park for our second Fast Pass, Tom noticed a mini-characterpalooza happening. Ariel and Ella were behind the gates, and they shut them right behind us, so we were the last people to get to meet them.

I asked Ariel for a picture of just us redheads.

And we told Ella about our cat names (couldn't wait to see Cinder and Ella later that day!)

Back to the front of the park, we stopped by the art gallery near Spaceship Earth, and I thought this painting was quite lovely:

Then we had a Spaceship Earth Fast Pass. I very terribly recorded all of the figures we have character names for, and threw them together into this video.

From there, we met up with our friend Jeff (Denise arrived later) of MouseSteps and MouseSteps Weekly, and took a stroll around World Showcase (where we discovered that Paige O'Hara was only there for five days or so, and was already gone...so even more incredible that I got to meet her).

We had a lunch reservation at Via Napoli, and it was delicious as always:

We ended up getting so caught up in conversation at lunch, time flew by before we knew it, and we were going to have to scoot back to our resort bus to get back to the resort in time for our Magical Express to the airport.

A couple of quick pictures with Jeff and Denise first, one in front of the naked fountain in Italy:

And one at the China pavilion:

We took a very full Magical Express back to the airport, and a very exhausted Tom and Grace arrived home to cold and snowy Ohio, and to two cats who were very glad to see us.

Just a four day trip, but what a trip it was!!

Below is my trip haul video, if you want to see the goodies we picked up, and re-hear a few stories.
